Victim Assistance Resource & Support Initiative (VAR&S)

A Program of Master Builders Kingdom Leadership Academy

The VAR&S Initiative provides referral-based victim assistance navigation and prevention education within defined regional hubs. Services are delivered within a structured, legally compliant framework and are limited to referral support and education.

Scope of Services

MBKLA Provides:

• Prevention education and awareness programming
• Structured intake for referral navigation
• Connection to licensed and credentialed victim service providers

MBKLA does not provide:

• Emergency crisis intervention or 24/7 response
• Residential shelter or housing placement
• Clinical counseling or therapy
• Legal representation
• Forensic interviews or investigations
• Direct financial assistance

Regional Service Areas

South Florida Regional Hub
Primary: Lauderhill and Broward County
Extended: Surrounding counties with verified referral infrastructure

Texas Regional Hub
Primary: Houston and Harris County
Extended: Surrounding counties and adjacent states with verified referral infrastructure

Georgia Regional Hub
Primary: Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County
Extended: Surrounding counties and adjacent states with verified referral infrastructure

Services are limited to regions where referral infrastructure has been formally verified.

Confidentiality

Information shared through this initiative is treated with discretion and is collected only as necessary to facilitate appropriate referral navigation. Access to intake information is restricted to authorized personnel.

Confidentiality is not absolute. MBKLA complies with mandatory reporting laws. If a minor discloses abuse, neglect, or exploitation, a report may be made to appropriate authorities as required by law.
